This year our school band took part in Templemore St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The rain held off and the huge crowd were very appreciative of our playing and marching. Well done to everyone. It’s very hard work to march and play for such a distance but well worth it!
On March 3rd, our school choir travelled to Limerick to participate in Limerick Choral Festival. What an experience to sing at such a venue!. Many thanks to Katie Chapple for being our accompanist.

Our school debating team are moving successfully through the rounds of the Concern Primary School Debating Competition. We are now through to Round 4 which is against Gowran NS in Kilkenny on March 31st.

On December 14th, all roads led to Moyne Community Centre where the annual Christmas Concert took place. A rip roaring success with every pupil taking part, here are our 99 pupils on stage ending the show with The Beatles’ ‘All you need is love’ and The Drifters’ ‘White Christmas’.
This event was followed on Christmas Eve by our Christmas Pageant. Pupils from 1st-6th class took part.
